My friend is there now for a few days but they won't let her 17 year old daughter with special needs come stay with her cause she needs another adult, which is my friend's mom and all three of them have been sheltering in place for almost a year. The mom and the daughter have even agreed to stay in the room with my friend even though other patients family members get to roam the hospital. MD Anderson is very picky with who gets special treatment. LET HER DAUGHTER AND MOTHER COME STAY WITH HER!!! My friend couldn't even sleep... read more

So very thankful for MDA! I don't know where I would be today if it was not for them and their clinical trials!

Zero stars. I hate being a patient here. No one can stick to a schedule and no one cares that your treatment is running 4 hours behind. Well, the people who care cannot do anything to help and the people who don’t care are the ones I need as advocates. You truly are just another number here. Unfortunately since I’m participating in a clinical trial, and the drug is working, I have no other options.

Business response:

Jordan, we are so sorry to hear this. We’d like to learn more so that we can improve. Please share more details with us, including your full name and date of birth, by emailing us at social@mdanderson.org.

My sister was a patient there but unfortunately she lost her life to aml on Dec. 11, 2020. But MD Anderson did a great job with her and her care. I would recommend highly.

MD Anderson is a great Cancer Treatment Hospital as long as you have insurance. If, due to loss of job from COVID-19 you can no longer afford insurance and get a cancer diagnosis MD Anderson would rather let you die from cancer than offer any type of advice or assistance. I was basically told to go buy extremely expensive insurance when I have no income and have gone through the last of my savings or... they told me I could just die from the cancer. They only care about getting paid.
