McNaughton wrote an estimate of approximately $3700 dollars to move my household belongings 0.8 miles down the road, literally one left and one right in between. We showed the estimator every room and everything that needed to go. The day of the move came, the movers started moving, about midday another truck showed up with more hands. No one said anything about this to us. We assumed they were doing what they needed to do to the job. Used this company to move my mom recently. They arrived on time, were quick, polite, and efficient. We had already packed a lot up but they took care of what was left, and everything was packaged with care. She had some delicate glass lampshades plus a lot of light bulbs that they removed for packing and not a single item was broken or damaged. The move of our belongings started with a phone conversation with Brian who explained the process. Our stuff was loaded at our house and shipped to our new home in Prescott, AZ with a minor delay of a few days later than expected. The guys couldn’t get the truck into the driveway because of the tight turn so they had to carry and use dollys to get everything in the house.
