RecommendedI had a little Billy goat that needed to be castrated and I was afraid to do it myself. The employees at McMillan Vet Clinic were very nice and my little Billy goat, Bucket, is healthy and thriving. Thank you Dr. Abma and staff.
Took our dog Noah in for a well dog check and some advice on several cystic bumps. He also has degenerative disc in his back she was great answering all my questions and the entire staff was very welcoming. Overall a great experience!

Sweet Timothy Tomcat was in the road on my way home from Church. I could tell he had been hit and I picked him up. He was bleeding. I brought him and put him in my tub not knowing if he would make it through the night. Dr. Mitchell called me right away and I took him in the next morning when he was up walking and seemed better. They have always gone above and beyond for any animal I have brought in. Recently one of my dogs got seriously hurt and Dr.mitchell came in and reassured me she would be fine and even sent me pictures. I brought her in today just to ease my concerns about her stitches and without questions Dr.Adma looked at her without notice or appointment. I really can’t thank them enough for what they have done❤️ Everybody there is true animal lovers.
I am very particular where I take my pets especially after working in the veterinary world. Dr. Mitchell was wonderful with my wild lab. He listened to my concerns and talked to me instead of at me. Toby is usually weird and skittish at the vet but aside from a little (normal) anxiousness he was comfortable with the staff and the doctor. We have been searching for a while for the perfect vet for my four dogs and it looks like we found it. Thanks guys!
I took my cat Roeth there Friday with a urinary obstruction. Dr. Abma checked him out and stated he needed to stay there. I got a phone call that evening with a progress report of everything done so far. I also got updated twice on Saturday of his progress. Imagine my surprise when Sunday, I get a text message updating me not only with his progress, but also a picture of my sweet kitty!!!! I have 2 Great Danes, one which has severe reactions to the rabies vaccine. Prior to finding McMillan, I took my Dane to 2 different vets, both which totally ignored my concerns when describing to them my dogs reaction once he was given the Rabies Vaccine, and both times my dog was so sick that we thought he would die. Today, we met with the amazing vets at McMillan, they listened to my concern & experiences, they asked questions, and they took preventive measures to help my dog feel much better after his vaccines. Dr Mitchell is a gift from God! He met us at 11pm Saturday night to help my cat who i gave dog advantage to. Yes I feel terrible, but Dr Mitchell reassured me and jumped to help her. Molly is fully recovered, and I am so grateful! My bill was minimal, even tho he came out on call, and Molly was hospitalized until Monday. Such kind caring people. Thank you all! May you be blessed!
