After creating a successful, microbrew pub empire in Portland, the McMenamin brothers brought their techniques to Seattle. They've opened three consciously cozy pubs here, this one on lower Queen Anne Hill, Six Arms Brew Pub and Dad Watson's. The long, dark room has high-backed booths and tables. Order the soup of the day with a sandwich and a pint and you're set for the afternoon. The wait staff won't hurry you out. Also try the daily cake and pie specials.

Great atmosphere. It's within close walking distance to Seattle center. I went for dinner before going to an opera at McCaw Hall. You have to try the Blunderbuss (can't quite remember the name of it but yumm!!). Burger was great too! Good service. It got pretty busy at dinner time so go early if you can.
Queen Anne is such a great location. - you step right into that cozy McMenamins vibe and the food is killer, as usual, at a great value. I had the Brexit ESB and it was really smooth and tasty. I hope it's available at other locations. Also as usual, the staff was great - very attentive and genuinely friendly. I'll look for any excuse to visit Seattle Center if there is even a chance it'll work out to hit this place.
Dropped in for a quick bite before The Nutcracker. Service was prompt, accommodating. Our food was very good. A place we will return to!
Poor service here. Usually love McMennamins, but this one rates at the bottom. Seemed to be poorly managed.
