After creating a successful, microbrew pub empire in Portland, the McMenamin brothers brought their techniques to Seattle. They've opened three consciously cozy pubs here, this one on lower Queen Anne Hill, Six Arms Brew Pub and Dad Watson's. The long, dark room has high-backed booths and tables. Order the soup of the day with a sandwich and a pint and you're set for the afternoon. The wait staff won't hurry you out. Also try the daily cake and pie specials.

The food has improved!!! Rice bowls and salads were delicious. The beer was fresh with many choices. Best of all it was not pretentious it was straight forward and fairly priced.
We found this place on a lark a decided to try it. And it was absolutely AMAZING!
Overall loved the atmosphere and the food was great. I tried the seasonal cider which was amazing. My only concern is the waitress seemed upset or annoyed, maybe just a rough night, who knows. Id still go back
I love all the McMenamins. Queen Ann has all the funky art & flare that u expect from a McMenamins establishment. I think they only hire cool & friendly staff because likable weight staff is consistent. If u have never been then it is time that u do for a unique and enjoyable environment to enjoy ur drinks & grub.
Great drinks served by a super crew. Reasonable prices, a real value!
Friendly staff, amazing neighborhood. Love it. Great ambiance.
