Was there last night with my 14 year old. He said it was his new favorite place. He said, "That was the best burger ever." Our celebratory stop for the start of baseball season. There are many more burgers in our future. With four boys I may need a 2nd job. Are you hiring.. LOL
From the great setting, to our super server, Hunter, to the great food, the Old Church never fails.
Good Cajun tots and service, but my burger was a little on the under cooked side when asked for a little pink 🤔
Great hometown Pub with great ale! It's a great spot for lunch or a quick snack with yummy crafted beers!
I love the place. The food is more than acceptable, the ales are loved by many of my friends (I am not an ale fan...if they ever make a good Pilsner, I would be happy), the selection of spirits is very nice, The ambience and the spectrum of regulars is unsurpassed. While those serving at the bar are congenial, competent and creative, the service at the tables is not great. However, the McMenamins dynasty is known and tolerated for that. The service was extremely slow. The restaurant really wasn't crowded so I don't know why everything took so long. Our drinks took 20 minutes to arrive, and then our food arrived twenty minutes after that even though we ordered it at the same time as the drinks. When we were finished we waited for over a half hour or our checks. And if we hadn't asked for a check when we finally got our waitress we would have probably waited even longer. The food was average.
