We have left twice after not even getting to place an order after half an hour. We have waited up to an hour to finally get food. I don't know how they are still in business, even if the food was worth waiting for they are ridiculous. They have lost me permanently!!
We were there in September. The food was very good. Paul was outstanding, he made great suggestions, and knew our needs before we did. I heartily recommend McMenamins Lighthouse and looking forward to returning on our next visit to Oregon.
First of all, I live in Lincoln City and have eaten here for years. The food for the most part is good, at best and the service is most of the time horrible. Most of the waiters are rude and clearly don't like their jobs and it takes forever to get your food. But my husband likes the beer and the ambiance is nice, so we go back often. But lately the service has been worse than ever and they raised their price by 30-40%. The clam chowder was amazing! A burger with my favorite beer in the world...Ruby. The service was outstanding as well. Life is good! Cheers!!!
Arrived on a Thursday night at 6:00 pm and were able to get a table immediately (so there was no line or waiting). Didn't get out of there until 8:00. Server was friendly and polite and wait staff seemed to be doing their best. However, food took forever to arrive. Usually we really enjoy McMenamin's, and the food was tasty, but the wait for it was ridiculous. Very disappointing. Never going back. Plenty of other options in the area.
Stopped in on a Wednesday at 2pm. They couldn't even get a menu to us in 20 minutes! Wow, avoid this one!
