The Dr I saw, Rika O’Malley did not take me seriously. She acted liked me being there was such an inconvenience to her. I explained my issues and she wrote down that I had “buttock pain” A week later I finally got an MRI done through another Dr and turns out I had a severely herniated disk that escalated very quickly and caused Cauda Equina just days later. Avoid this emergency room!!! I walked into this ER, under my own power. They did a blood test, urine test, and a CT scan and labeled said constipation. $13,000!! They have me listed as a level 5 trauma entry, and charged me $450 for a prescription that I never even got filled. Terrible,terrible, terrible. Go elsewhere if you can.
The ladies and x ray tech were all pretty nice. I went in because I couldn’t deal with the pain any longer (this is very rare for me). Told them I hurt myself lifting. I believe I have a bulged disc and it’s swelling and irritating my sciatic. The pain has prevented all activities and any sleep. Dr comes in and ask if I have went to my doctor.
