Fantastic customer service, knowledgeable friendly staff, excellent selection of stainless fasteners, and a repair shop in the back. This is what a hardware store should be.
I went in for the first time to have a key made. Ask where I go, they told me to the back of the store. Long walk to the back, no one was there. Looked around for an employee, no one. Wanted for 15 minutes, still on one to make a key. Left store , went to Ace hardware. Was there 5 minutes, got my key made, paid and left. Ace hardware rules !!
Their motto is true, " if we don't have it, you don't need it " This place has everything and the best customer service ever. We travel to Tacoma to visit family and we always stop here as well to pick up merchandise we can't find in CA ( unless you special order it...don't get me started) their wood dept. is exceptional. Too bad Mclendon's is so far away. Whenever we're in town we visit. We explore hardware store on road trips, this one is a treat because despite its size, it feels like a Mom & Pop.
