I can't say enough great things about my experience with the service department for McLaughlin Volvo! For over a year, my 2015 XC60 had been experiencing ongoing issues that multiple mechanics in the area misdiagnosed or completely misrepresented. I had even gone to other places, hoping to save money with cheaper pricing, but those attempts only made the problem worse. I had a great experience buying a car at McLaughlin. Brian Cox was extremely helpful and professional during the whole process.
Took my XC90 in for a routine brake job. Was not properly done, brakes so soft they went to the floor, but we were sent home with it! Took it back and were told we were looking at another $2K repair to fix it. Second opinion confirmed it was NOT the $2K issue but something far less. While we cannot prove the secondary issue was dealer fault, they cannot prove it was not, as it was fine when we dropped it off!! I had a great experience with the service department at McLaughlin Volvo in Moline, IL! It started with the woman who scheduled my appointment over the phone. She was so friendly and patient (didn’t talk to me like she was in a rush).
