Felt like a ghost. I was almost completely and utterly ignored for the my stay in the ER, about 24 hours. I didn’t have a call button so I had to scream to the front desk to be unhooked from monitors to use the restroom. EMBARRASSING. Where was my nurse!? Whenever I would ask someone to get me water or take me to the restroom the reply was the same “I’ll find your nurse” no one EVER sent my nurse. I had to flag my nurse down every time. Did not feel like a regular hospital with the setup they have. Definitely not like Beaumont's level of care. Doctor was nice at least but just basic blood work and didn't even take my blood pressure to make sure it was lower. I expected a lot better care and felt like I wasn't supposed to be there with how the nurse acted, very cold. My elderly mother fell and broke her hip... The ambulance took her to McLaren Macomb ER, it was an amazing experience to say the least. Dr's and staff were so attentive, and caring, I was so enamored by the care and attention and bedside manner the whole staff had, definitely is my go to for medical emergencies in Macomb County!
Dont come here if you need a real doctor. Like seriously wish I could sue these people for medical malpractice. How can they treat people this way. Its absolutely ridiculous. This is why I dont go to the hospital unless its absolutely necessary and even when I do, they dont help. Put me in more pain, more distress and worse than before I came in
Botched up IV, incompetence. Nurse Madison messed up attitude, in the wrong profession, had to go get a more capable, competent nurse, to correct her incompetence.
