Tripped and fell and scraped my face and my knees at a rest stop. So looked for a nearby hospital and we were nearby this hospital so we went here… I went in and right away I had to go through security. Okay no problem.. then I checked in and they took my blood pressure and temperature and all that. These people have no urgency! They literally do not care!
They put me in a storage closet and had the nurses verbally harass me. They used a nurse supervisor to intimidate me, demand to know my education level, and basically not pay attention to any of my patient rights.
-5 stars I really debated posting this but after a few weeks of speaking to not only employees but also patients...its time. On April 13th around 2:30 pm, my 75 year old mother was brought in by ambulance for weakness, vomiting,digestion problems and passing out. Plus a abnormal ekg ( turned out to be nothing thank god) Upon arrival we assumed she would be taken back....she was a week out from a complete hip replacement surgery. I have had to go to the McLaren Flint ER with a few scary things. These are all good people doing their best in an often difficult situation. I was satisfied with the care I received and was dealt with in a patient and courteous manner by every staff member I encountered. You may experience long wait times, which can be difficult while in pain or think your life is in danger. Please try to show these people the same courtesy they try to show us. I’ll absolutely use them again without reservation.
