Please don’t come here. Go to any other urgent care or the CMU health clinic. I have had 2 negative experiences, with the doctors just rushing the process. I came in for a basic UTI, and they didn’t do a urine culture at all and just threw antibiotics at me. This messed up everything and made my infection 10 times more complicated, as now I have a bladder infection due to not being properly treated. Visited the McLaren Central Michigan - ReadyCare with a sick child and received the best care we have ever had from a walk-in clinic. The gentleman at the front office was kind, helpful and the most patient person ever while we dealt with insurance issues. Candace Wixson-Johnson, PA-C and the care she provided was top tier. She was personable, knowledgeable and SO sweet and kind.
DO NOT GO HERE! The wait times are fine, but their billing is ridiculous. I got a strep and covid test and my insurance was billed $1500.
While it’s easy to get frustrated with wait times (and let’s be honest, that’s most urgent cares), it’s important to understand that the delays here have nothing to do with the quality of care — in fact, it’s quite the opposite.
