I've lived in a McKee home for 10yrs now. I absolutely wish I had bought a different home from a different builder. It's been one problem after another. I'd say the biggest issue has been our HVAC. We have had issues since day one. We called the builder to come out and they "tested" the airflow and said everything was fine. Over the years we have had a hard time cooling our home. Save yourself from problems and go with a different builder. Moved into this brand new home at October 2023 in Wilmington NC. I’ve had nothing but problems floor creaking upstairs. AC unit does not put out air in guest rooms; the contractor has come out many times and now charging me to try and get ventilation in the rooms. Master shower insert is shallow and dips in the shower floor. Master bath sink faucet is pulling up and can’t be stabilized. Paint pulls drywall right off the wall. Corner seams falling down.
