I placed an order for 4 doz pumpkin sugar cookies and picked up today for class party. They were sooooo good and super soft! A huge hit with kids who got to decorate them! Loved them!

McKay Bakery did an amazing job on my mom's birthday cake . I called Saturday morning at 730am to see if they could make a special cake for her not only did they say yes but they had it done by 1pm. It's tasted delicious and they did a beautiful job.
went to order my boyfriend's bday cake and thumbprint cookies and a black and white cookie. was told my card declined they swiped my card multiple times even used a second card and still declined. the first card was a brand new bank card with over 200 on it and the second one had over a hundred on it. they used their square program then some other machine. still declined. i called my bank they said the decline was the bakerys system issue code and then it went through acouple of time 240.35 later i still have no cake and no ... read more
I called on Thursday to order something for my husbands birthday. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and the young lady that answered the phone was very helpful! I decided to go with cupcakes. She was asking how I wanted them decorated and again I was undecided. I mentioned that he likes golf and she said “okay!” My daughter picked them up for me today and I was pleasantly surprised to open the box and see what looked like a mini golf course out of cupcakes complete with golf balls! We had been so excited to go and try this bakery. The bakery itself is very cute, it felt very old fashioned and sweet. I wanted to like it. The cookies were dry, and tasted old. We asked for a cake from the case. We were so excited, we brought it home for friends. We opened the box, They gave us the wrong cake. Definitely disappointed. We won’t be going back.
I cannot say enough about Amy (owner) of Mckays. Today was my daughters wedding and we had to travel 2.5 hrs from out of town with her cake and the bakery we had gotten her cake from did not secure the cake for travel. When we arrived at her venue the cake had fell over and was trashed. She was crying and so upset but when I called Mckays they went above and beyond for us.
