I discovered that the agency was sold to Marsh McLennan in November. Two policies up for renewal. No communication - no follow up on renewals. Record of terrible communications continue - and my agent no longer works in the Ft. Myers area. Too late for me to get my condo policy changed this year - but I'll definitely be looking for a new agency.
Terrible service. Our association had all our insurance through them for many years. Two years ago assigned a new agent who completely dropped the ball on our renewals. Promised that would never happen again. Now sold to a new company in the middle of our renewal. I called and emailed for follow up and had to go through the switchboard to get connected. Never introduced our new agent. Very poorly managed. We switched to a new agency.
There customers service is terrible and they are very poor communicators & see uce center doesn't understand coverage & don't explain anything. They act as traffic cops without any understanding. We were charged for coverage for over 5 years that was not provided in the policy conditions & specifically identified in the exclusion section of the policy.
We had McGriff as our condo insurance agent for over 20 years. Used to be competent. Most recently, we are assigned a new broker at least every 6 months. No continuity. We value long-term relationships with vendors who know our business.
The WORST customer service EVER! I've been with McGriff for several years and my "agents" have changed more often than those number of years. Every time I've called it seems I have been assigned to a different person (I must have 9 different email addresses). The latest agent has basically ghosted me leaving me in limbo while my policy is set to expire soon. Their turnover must be extraordinarily high. Steer clear of this firm.
