Spotty service from college-aged waitress who was, it must be said, otherwise very nice . Not a super friendly staff, however: we had to move our large party of 8 from front bar to back bar to watch Irish hurling on TV because TWO guys at bar wanted to watch a non-Pats NFL match. And then how does a pub run out of Guinness knowing there are loads of Irish and Irish-Americans in town for the Fenway Hurling event? But it happened here. We probably won’t be back.
Could not speak more highly of the experience at McGreevys during my visit from Australia. . Visited five times over five days and nights recently and could not be happier with the service, experience and pricing (and even the customer tip about the cheap Narangasset � ) Wonderful staff made my stay a pleasure, so take a bow Selina, Aysha, Alexa, Jackie and others. Will be back next year for sure.
Bad service from the start. Just wouldnt let us in, cause supposedly we were partying/having fun in an amazing city .... Du uh-huh. Came from Montreal especially to try that bar because it was highly recommended by our collegues. Just don't go there. When it's shitty from the start don't expect much from their staff.
We walked from Fenway to McGreevys. It’s a beautiful scenic walk I recommend taking it. When we got to the bar we were greeted by Erin and another girl (whose name I have forgotten). They were both so nice! The food was AMAZING!! We had the cheese stuffed pretzels with beer cheese dipping sauce for app, I had the Reuben and my brother had a cheeseburger. I highly recommend this pub!
