Stay away! This firm is ethically challenged, dishonest, and not responsive. We moved in September 2nd. During inspection, in the morning of the 2nd, we noticed that the refrigerator was dirty, and so was the washing machine, kitchen cabinet drawers, microwave, among others. After we were promised that these will be cleaned and addressed, we took possession of the property; security deposit of previous occupants will cover cost were told. I do not understand this listing. I rent from them, but the company name, and to whom I send my rent money, is called McGRATH REAL ESTATE SERVICES, *NOT* MONITOR REAL ESTATE. Their address and phone number are the same, but the name is different. AND, difficult to find. Their website did not even have their physical street address: http://www.mcgrathrealestate.com. When I looked under "Contacts" my computer security flagged it as a threat. This is awfully suspicious and quite frankly, sketchy and scary.
Throughout the past couple of years, I have sold 15+ homes with Betsy and her team. She has been instrutmental in my business and getting my homes solds. She has an excellent marketing program, especially online and photography. Not only has she provided me with great service but I have referred her to other folks and they have been very happy with her. I have been in the real estate business for 25 years and Betsy is easily the best realtor I have worked with. You won't find anyone better in the Charlottesville area.
We had a great experience with Betsy, husband Fred and daughter Maggie. Together they made a great combination by using their skills to make our sale go smoothly, professionally, quickly and positively. We would recommend her to anyone who needs to sell or purchase a home, especially in the Lake Monticello area that she knows so well. We appreciated the Better Homes and Gardens affiliation she has and the resources used to market our special property. In the end, we felt like Betsy was a new found friend.
Betsy sold my house in this "down" market in just 5 weeks. Betsy's inspiration and enthusiasm made all the difference to me during the process of deciding and then selling my house. My experience was upbeat though I had dreaded it; and Betsy single handedly energized my efforts. With her guidance we got this nice house sold rather quicker than all those others! Betsy is fabulous.
You need to contact Betsy. She is awesome. You can really trust her, know she has the knowledge and talent to get your home sold. Talk about connections! She knows everyone!
