Moved to town a few months back. I was looking for decent food, cold beer, and football games. My cousin recommended McGivney's. It was way better than I expected. All the food is excellent, beer is cold, all the waitresses I've had have been very friendly and attentive, and they always have the football games on. Love the place!
Excellent food, prompt and friendly service, good draught beer in tap, great live music and plenty of televisions for game variety. Very comfortable atmosphere.
Almost always crowded but the food is good and they have a good bar. 4 stars because of no hard cider on tap & because they need more servers. The food is way above typical "bar food".. Try the poutine.. Soooo good!

Our favorite go-to place, going at least 2-3 times a month. We've tried many things on the menu and have never had a bad meal. I personally love the fried pickles, Greek salad and hummus, Jamaican jerk chicken wings...actually there's so many things, I can't list them all. During the summer when we are out bicycle riding we usually stop here for a quick drink. The atmosphere is fun. It's the place we like to bring our out of town company.
