We love going to McDowells! We take the girls every year as a family tradition to get our tree. The family who owns this is so sweet! our tree is gorgeous and i will post a picture when we get home. Like ANY real tree farm you have to get out and look for your tree! Our tree is full and green! Maybe some just dont know how to pick out trees? 🤷‍♀️ fyi most trees arent $50 so i unfortunately dont believe the last review. Our tree(normal size) was $15.

Great experience, I don't know what all the poor reviews are, we had a wonderful time. $20 for a lovely, fat, 7 foot tall white pine. Large farm with lots of variety in sizes and a few species to choose from. No they don't wrap the tree up for you, so who cares? I think all the one star reviews are just whiney people who need to go back to whole foods and pay $60 for a smaller tree that will fit on their Prius.

Trees look yellow and in rough shape, not a good selection. NO WREATHS HERE. Also, if you are planning to travel far they don't even bale the trees. The juice is not worth the squeeze here.

Let’s say they have 500 7 foot trees, I saw 300 and 90% of them were missing too much green or the type of tree was too flimsy for an ornament. They did have a lot of short, very wide full trees. If you go: Wear rain boots even if it hasn’t rained bc there is chopped high grass and chopped sticker bushes between the rows of trees. We drove to the tree farm wondering if we were going the right way. There was only one sign at the beginning of the long drive... read more

3 rd year of a great tradition...This tree farm is a great place to bring the family..walk through the rows of trees and cut you own tree.Once again we love our tree and will continue to support this family run business..couldn't be happier.
