McDowel South was a great experience when purchasing my fifth wheel. From Rick, Alan and Robbie all the way to Jason in service, they are an A+ dealership. Jason in service is excellent. He always is available, listens and solves all the little things I want completed. Rick still follows up on the sell and makes sure I am happy with my Elkridge. Highly recommended. A++++
While traveling south on l 55, stopped at McDowell South for electrical repairs on our 5th wheel camper. The service department was wonderful: great staff, service and price. If we lived closer, we would take our camper there for all our maintenance and service.
While traveling through the Sikeston area, Jason at McDowell did a great job talking me through the process of resetting some circuit breakers and allowing me to come in for some warranty work on my Forrest River RV.
Horrible service on some repair work. They didn't fix it the first time so they would look at it again free of charge. Ended up fixing some things for free but never fixed the problem. Also other customers got pushed in front of me and it took close to 5 month to get it back. With that being said McDowell south will never get my business again.
Just want to say how much I appreciate your service manager, Jason. He has been with me through a frozen black tank, a freaky electrical problem, a warranty paint job during the busiest of times, on and on. He is always courteous, friendly, and genuinely helpful. When I'm at wits end, he calms me down and helps me to arrive at a mutual plan of attack of the problem. Excellent customer relations. We bought our 2013 Redwood, 5th wheel from u and have lived very comfortably for almost 3 years !
I am very happy we got our fifth wheel at McDowell south. The staff has gone out of their way to be helpful. We had ours delivered in 12 inches of snow. They had no problem standing out there and making sure we got hooked up properly. The service manager has gone above and beyond to help me. From small problems with a simple fix to large ones that he personally came and fixed.
I wouldn't recommend buying a camper from McDowell south because then if something breaks on it you'll have to deal with their crappy service department. They give you the run around when you call to check on the status of your camper repairs. They act like their doing you a favor when they take care of a $25 copay that shouldn't be charged to begin with because the camper was built wrong.
