I have rented bikes from McDowell Mountain Cycles and they’ve put my bike together when I’ve brought it from Illinois. Today I rode with their group for the first time. I found my people. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Thank you!
Everything about our experience with MMC was great. We were in town for 4 days and we rented two beautiful, full suspension mountain bikes that appeared to be practically new, along with a hitch for our truck all at a very reasonable cost. The very friendly and personable staff gave us great advice about the local trails that we had not found online. Overall the bikes and riding recommendations were awesome and the service was terrific. Will definitely use MMC again when we are back in town!

Great bicycle shop with fun community environment.
I wish this company didn't hire people with zero respect for customers and bad attitudes. It seems the highest goal for MMC is making twice the money in half the time, then being completely disrespectful about it. Tyson is the worst of the bunch, so stay clear of him if you have to go in there. Otherwise pick a place with integrity, because this isn't the one.
MMC is a great place to find all your cycling needs. Prompt and friendly service and it’s a jump-off point for many great rides they host through each week. It’s been a great way for me to meet new friends and discover the many options for road, mountain and gravel riding. I add a personal experience from a while back where after a nasty crash the staff and owners got me to a hospital and stayed with me while I got the necessary medical attention. McDowell mountain cycles shop is great! The Service is excellent and the products are top notch! These guys are very knowledgeable and are very approachable. The customer service is excellent which is rare in the bike industry. Thanks so much for letting me take out one of your bikes today! It was a blast!
