RecommendedBest dentist ever! My husband and our kids and grandkids have gone to Dr McDowell. In fact some of our grandkids (late teens) have never seen another dentist and they don’t want to. The staff is great, friendly and professional. We followed his practice when he was in Citrus Heights and since he moved his practice to Roseville. We come to him when we visit from Arizona.
NOT WHAT THEY USED TO BE. I saw Dr. McDowell for over 20 years and he and his staff were always excellent. Sadly, in my last couple of visits, I found that the courtesy, professionalism and quality of work have suffered greatly. The last straw was when he fitted me with a poorly made partial. When I pointed out the obvious defects, he was clearly offended. In the end, he repaired one problem but rudely ignored the other two, which are still painful. He's the best. Tells it like it is. Doesn't say you need work if you don't. Love him.
He's excellent! He's been our family dentist for years, I've had work done (fillings, etc), so has my 8 year old and they're always so nice in the office (Pam is who I usually talk to, she's so sweet) and Dr. McDowell always explains things so I can understand them and has the patience of a saint! :)
His work was fast and ok, but I feel I was over charged for 3 O rings for implants. Have had it done b-4 at half the price.
