I recently visited this McDonald's location and was very disappointed with the hygiene practices of some of the male employees. I noticed a few workers with visibly dirty hands and untrimmed, unclean fingernails while handling food. It’s unacceptable regardless of whether they're at the register or in the kitchen—cleanliness is essential when working in food service. Stopped at this McDonald’s while traveling from Monterey to Santa Barbara — terrible experience. Restrooms were marked “out of service,” and staff didn’t bother helping us find alternatives. We returned 10 mins later, and suddenly the restrooms were working again. Clearly, they just didn’t want to clean them. On top of that, our food was cold and the bread was burnt. Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Absolutely disappointing — would not recommend this location to anyone.
