it was a awesome place to go and the owner was awesome too very nice
We were so excited to come to this place. According to the Facebook page, and the sign on the window, this place opens at 9am on Saturday (today). We arrived around 9:30 to find the doors locked and nobody here. We called the phone number listed on the window twice, and sent a message on Facebook Messenger, however we got NO response. We waited in front of the place for ONE hour, hoping they were just late to open the place up, but still nobody showed. We drove 2.5 HOURS one way just to come here today to check out cars and ... read more
The Spooky Cars exhibit was excellent. Great family fun! Unique
Good Music and old cars . Good political views.
I'm from Jacksonville Florida, and every once in awhile I'll take a trip to Waycross just to see this awesome junkyard. These guys are very helpful, and a very friendly in every way, they helped me cut a roof skin off of a 71 Fury and gave me a great deal on the grill. Highly recommend these guys. I need to take another trip up there soon.
My family and I were passing through when we stumbled upon this truly unique place. The owner was so super nice. Would love to go back one day and look at all of the treasures tucked away there.
Great place to visit. Many items from the past on display....and Derek is a great guy with a great personality.
This business used to be called a and B auto salvage by the grandfather of the owner today. I have been visiting this location for over 30 years now and it’s always a place I have to stop at when going through Waycross Georgia
We are Ohioans visiting dear friends from Blackshear. Our first stop was the memorable House of Rust. Greeted by the friendliest young man who called his delightful Mama to join us as we browsed the most unique 'museum' I've visited. Much more than antique vehicles in various stages of restoration. Rooms of special collections for toys, railroad or just general antiques. Well worth the time for a unique experience.
McDaniel's House of Rust has a 4.4 star rating with 83 reviews.
McDaniel's House of Rust is open now. It will close at 5:00 p.m.
