We had a great experience with McDaniel when our air conditioner required replacing a few weeks ago. Chris was prompt in giving us a quote, and we were so impressed that he did not try to upsell to the priciest unit. The first week of July was extremely hot and my vintage 1991 air-conditioning was working over-time. I thought may a shot of freon was what I needed. So I call my old friend Chris at McDaniels. He came right out, but brought bad news with him. First he reminded me that they don’t use Freon anymore. And then he suggested that I consider a new unit. 5 stars isn’t enough! Called him after 7pm on a holiday with outside temps near 90 and inside temps near 80. He came out and had everything fixed up and running smoothly in less than 20 minutes and for half the price of the competitors.
