Awful place for conference. No food AT ALL. All the restaurants in the center ARE CLOSED ON THE WEEKEND!!! Nothing nearby for miles and miles. The staff are rude and the exhibition halls are closed except for two hours in the morning and afternoon. I had to buy coffee out of a vending machine, ugh. Never go there! The outside is scenic and that's where I escaped to.
Bathrooms need more cleaning. However stuff they host is good. That's about it
I say this because I've been here many times this was my only iffy experience. Chicago auto show is amazing time and time again. Why was WekFest treated differently way more restrictions than the Chicago auto show. It's car based. Why were restrictions changed just because these cars are modified and the others aren't. That's my only complaint. I don't understand.
I'm here for a national medical conference. All of the family bathrooms are locked. There is no where private for a nursing mother (myself) to pump. Staff is not helpful. There is very limited food/drink options (as in only vending machines and a shop that sells cliff bars for $4). Horrible!
