It's for the second time (2013, 2017) I have attended the American Library Association (ALA) conference & exhibition at McCormick Place & Convention Center and the experience was awesome! What a magnificent structure and everything works perfectly well! I really like the cleanliness of the whole building. The conference rooms are excellent for workshops and lectures. The central air condition system works very well. The shuttle service between the conference hotels and McCormick Place & Convention Center went very well. A jo... read more
Everything was so well organized for ALA 2017 !!!!!
I think there should be hot dogs. Surprised with all that space that there isn't a hot dog stand.
Attended the ALA conference and it was fun. Easy parking quick in out. I would go again.
I hate this location. Directions are horrid, traffic is horrid, rooms are awful, parking is atrocious, food is poor. Salesforce is awesome but they should move to Donald E. Stephens in Rosemont.

One of the staff members saw the look of confusion on my face and in a friendly manner approached me to say I looked like I may need some assistance. So kind! It was cold but I understand it was an attempt to make sure we were cool rather than hot given the massive amount of people attending th... read more
The hotel room is nice... but our air conditioner broke. Our service was always slow. We had to call multiple times for maintenance and for hotel items. It took almost two hours to have towels delivered. Upon checking in we learned they sold a room of ours (that we booked months ahead) out from under us... (15min prior to us checking in-\-\-the worker slipped up and actually told us that). So 3 or the 6 of us got upgraded to a suit... but we're in 1 bed... we were pretty much given the impression that we should be happy to e... read more
