They are right. They last time they actually provided service was November 2017, but how soon they forget. I called for service just months ago when it was time to activate the system, and I had to cancel the service when they could not do it in a timely manner. Apparently they don't keep track of their service calls - even those that are cancelled. They lost that business to another company because of their poor customer service and unwillingness to accommodate a long-standing customer. And I stand by the claim that they ne... read more

You had an appointment and you cancelled it. How is that poor service? You made the choice to go elsewhere, your decision. All phone messages are returned the same day or within 24 hours, that is a standard business practice. Additionally, you scheduled an appointment that you cancelled so clearly the phone system works. I concur with the negative reviews posted here. After 13 years with McClurg, I'm done. The did my home, my parents' home, and several friends. Their customer service is non-existent. It's virtually impossible to talk to anyone on the phone, and messages are not returned. You play touch-tone bingo trying to get through to anyone. I called three times to get them to come and completely re-do my back yard, and none of the calls was returned. The attitude of the staff has declined to a degree that it's borderline rude. The last time our company provided service for this customer was November 2017. We show no correspondence from this customer since November 2017. We can not return phone calls we do not receive. Mr. ***** waits 10 months to write a complaint, rather bizarre.

My experience with McClurg Environmental was a very positive and satisfactory one. The paver patio they designed and installed for us is very beautiful. We have received nothing but compliments since they finished. I will be using them for all of my landscaping needs. Job well Done!

I have been a client of Mcclurg for 14 years. I have never had an issue until the new staff took over. Their customer is incredible horrible. The prior staff would always call to schedule the turn on. Since no one called I called to schedule the turn on and asked for the service rep **** who always took care of my property as I always did. I was called back by the office manager and ripped a new one, telling me that I had no right to ask for a specific person and they would send me whoever was available. Stunned I agreed. This customers issues will be addressed point by point as follows. She has been a customer since 2009. Due to the volume of customers it is not feasible to call customers for service to their property. In lieu of phone calls we do send out reminder post cards to our customer base. I had McClurg install my sprinkler system several years ago. I would religiously have them do the spring turn on and fall winterization. I promptly paid when the invoice arrived. Last year, I received a call from McClurg stating they were at my home to do a spring turn on. I advised that I was not at home nor did I have an appointment scheduled. We have made some changes and there have been some snafus as a result and we have addressed those issues. Customers can always contact the office manager to discuss concerns or questions. I have worked with the company for almost 2 seasons and now I am finally calling it quits! They never answer their phone! Their ad says answered by a real person and that is sooooo not true. It doesn't matter the time of day, it is always a recording. I contracted a job that was to take two months to complete....it took five months. We are into late fall now and although my yard is seeded, it will have to go through winter and spring as what is likely to be a muddy mess. The company does not dispute the amount of time it took to complete the project. There were mitigating circumstances that was conveyed to the customer on a regular basis. The customer had numerous design changes which impacted the time line and it was explained to the customer that the changes would change the timeline. I called in November to get winterization done at my house.It is obvious that the old staff at the front desk is long gone. ***** was a very nice lady, and ******* in the irrigation department is top notch. There is now a dragon lady at the front desk. I have been a customer for 20 years. ******* installed my system and I have passed their name on to many people. The company's terms of payment are upon receipt of invoice and after 30 days, the account is subject to collections. This has always been the company's policy regarding payment. ***** has not worked for this company for years and there's a reason for that. When this customer was contacted about her delinquencies she was degrading to the billing clerk who was doing her job to follow up on past due customers.
