I’ve had three different “gunsmiths” look at my old Browning A5 and “fix” her problems of not cycling shells…at a cost of about $500…never was fixed. I stumbled on McClelland’s and 20 minutes later, she’s back to normal…at a cost of 0$. Although it’s a bit of a drive from Kilgore, they have a new customer. They are definitely REAL gunsmiths.
The older gentleman named Ron was helpful, fair and direct. His excellent, straight to the point customer service and willing to work with the customer for a fair negotiation made this a 5 star experience.
Great company and great people
I screwed up with reassembly and locked up my gun. Dropped by to see if they could help, and with a simple touch by the professional, it was fixed. He didn't make me feel like an idiot for my ignorance, but was kind and assisted with my issue. I highly recommend McCleeleand's gunsmith shop.
