Dr. McCarter couldn’t have done a better job throughout every step of my pregnancy, delivery, and post partum care. It is so important to have an OBGYN that you trust, and I always felt that Dr. McCarter is very thorough and honest with any question/ concern that I had. Dr. McCarter is incredible and has been so pivotal in diagnosing endometriosis. I spent years seeing doctors and the first appointment he took me seriously. The office staff is wonderful, responsive, and deeply kind. So grateful to have found this team.
5 year update: I am still dealing with issues from this delivery. There is a lot of scar tissue from where the abscesses were behind my uterus. This has trapped my ovary and fallopian tubes and as a result I can’t get pregnant from that side (I only have one ovary) so I would need to have surgery or IVF. I don’t think he meant any harm, and he was amazing at showing up after the surgery. He did listen to what I wanted and didn’t give me an additional scar when I needed to be opened up again so I hate to say anything but I am... read more
