Our delmonico steaks were tasty but out of the three steaks we got mostly fat. Very little meat/fat ratio.
RecommendedGreat food all around. Sampled the poutine, beef on week, Cuban and Rueben. All delicious.
Came from Kendall because I heard they have better cuts. And they do! Respect has been given to the animal and all is used. Dry aged from a butcher is awesome service and so so tasty. The meat is more flavorful and more tender than anything we were buying. This is the exact place you can use the expression You Get What You Pay for. An incredible team that creates absolutely amazing products!
By far the best butcher shop in Rochester. I also know some of the farms that they get their meat from and can say they are top notch! Willing to pay a little extra to know who we are supporting and where our meat is coming from.
I can’t say enough good things about McCann’s. The service is fantastic. I love to splurge on their steaks, especially when I have friends or family from out of town. The highlight of my week is Wednesday’s ramen special (I love to sub “cabbage noodles” and it’s easily lunch for two days), and I load up on broccoli rabe. Yes, odd, that my favorite thing at a butcher shop is the broccoli, but I’m obsessed. And... don’t tell my mom, but the potato salad is better than hers.
Outstanding meat and service
Kevin is top notch with customer service and product. He gained a life long customer after 2 minutes of being in the store.
