Dr. McCall was my Pediatrician growing up. I was born with life threatening disabilities. He always knew just what to do. If he did not know how to care for me. He would know who to refer me to. Dr. McCall is always on top of everything. He is very organized. Dr. McCall always tries his best to answer every question from concerned parents. I recently brought my son into this office for his 18 month checkup. We recently moved so I was looking into a new doctor for him. Our appointment was at 9 am and we didnt walk out of the office until 11:30 am. Longest wait I have ever had for a routine checkup. Also they did not have separate doctor visit rooms for sick and non-sick kids (they have separate waiting rooms for sick vs not sick but it wasnt very clean), as a result my son caught a horrible cold. This is the worst doctor I have ever experienced! My daughter got horribly sick and had to be hospitalized due to their neglience! They are horrible! I never met a doctor and my daughter went there for at least 10 visits! DO NOT USE THIS PEDIATRICIAN! They do not care about the health of your child all they care about is getting your child in and out as quick as possible and collecting your money!
When my son was born my husband said that we should use Mark McCall. My husband said that everyone in his family and even his other son uses him and he is great. So to just go with the flow I decide to try him out. I went to him a few times and every single time I sat in that office for over 1 hour waiting. I used to go to Dr. McCall when I was little. He was the only doctor in the practice then, and I think back at my doctors visits when I was a child and I remember them being fun because Dr. McCall was so friendly. Now I am an mother and if I lived closer to this practice, I would take my child there.
Summerville Pediatrics has wonderful, skilled doctors on hand to assist children of all needs. My children have been cared for by this clinic for over 3 years now and I plan to stay. Dr McCall is a wonderful man full of humor and my 3 year old loves him to death. I cant imagine him being upset with another child over something silly, like the last poster stated. started going to this office a few months ago after moving from out of state. Saw Dr Schwab, not bad, but not too talkative. General answers to my questions, felt like a number. My son came down with RSV-so I went here again not knowing where else to go. Saw both APs- they were nice and helped out quite a bit the first time, but at the follow up visit, didnt even remember him, and actually started to check my daughter out instead of him. I was not happy with this office at all. The facility is very dirty, they have a well room with toys and I thought that was nice until I went into the well room. There are toys and a picnic table in there that look like they havent been washed in ages, which defeats the whole purpose of a well room since its full of germs and who knows what else. I had high hopes for this office. Dr. Mccall is a nice man. Although I have only seen him twice. But the nurses that work there are very unfriendly. They wanted us in and out. My last visit my Husband and I were in shock, that not even one person that worked there gave us a smile. Its sad. I plan on switching offices.
