Our preteen daughter has been going through some things the last few months and was sent here at a very low point. We live a little over 3 hours away but are so thankful that she was sent here to get the much needed help she needed. My 11 year old was inpatient here. While the program was great and the staff was amazing I have to say the food for my child was awful. She is allergic to Vegetable oil and that she could only have olive oil and while her peers were eating really good meals, she was SOOO hungry because all they gave her was RUNNY Mac and cheese because the kitchen REFUSED to obtain olive oil. I had to come and spend over $100 just to feed my child to make sure she ate properly. The staff stated they were going to complete an incident report.... read more

Got groomed here, staff didn’t do any thing, was told to kms, staff didn’t do anything, staff outed a kid to their homophobic parents while knowing it needed to be kept secret, staff would ignore us, staff would ignore kids self harming, went here 4 years ago and never got any justice

What is beautiful is teenagers getting along together in 1991 and 1992 when I was tricked by a someone who was kind and reassuring named Keith and I made numerous friends and heard about emancipated teenagers just happy to know other people who really care even being put into those straps in that room and calming down and then let out and eating veggie burgers and not being mean to anyone where we were cared about getting to cheat on the IQ test when the psychologist stepped out of the room after they were done testing me fo... read more

I got super lucky being able to go here. I was able to reset and build healthy coping skills. I built strong bonds with my peers and always had something to do. The program definitely challenges you to reflect and critically think which are hard skills to achieve but absolutely necessary for mental function. I took the one star off because two staff members had the audacity to tell me that I should give people in my life who have hurt me continuously “compassion” and have hope that one day they will change.
