I haven't bought a home from MacArthur (yet), but I own a home near one of their new home construction sites in West Jordan. I had some concerns related to the unpleasant effects of being so close to the construction. They listened and made some changes to accommodate my concerns. I even communicated some with the company's owner. From those interactions, I can tell this is a company where integrity is a solid, practiced business value. The homes they are building are beautiful. I highlyrecommend them!
Honestly not the best experience. Communication throughout was not helpful. They had an attitude of “if you don’t like something we can just get someone else to buy your house for more money.” After living in the house for several years it is all too apparent that the level of quality is very low and cheap. My neighbors have the same opinions about quality as well. I’m pretty sure all of the subs they used were the bottom of the barrel. I purchased a new home from McArthur Homes and was very impressed with the quality and workmanship of the home. It was so nice to work with a builder that is committed to quality.
