We eat here often and the food is consistently great. But what always stands out is the friendliness of the staff.
First off I love McAlister's, well I use to. Now I cannot recommend. The enshitification is real here. My new yorker had meat covering only the center, leaving all the edges and roughly 2/3s of the bread as just bread. My wife's nachos were not heated at all so none of the cheese was melted. Finally the other person's ham and cheese, had all the cheese, melted, in one corner of the sandwich in a pile. My wife and I ordered chef salads. We were seriously shocked at the paltry salad we received. Barely any meat, cheese or lettuce. On a Chef’s salad. See the photo. This is what $13 gets you. Absolutely pathetic.
