We drove from northern suburb of Chicago to McAfee Animal Hospital because Dr. Steve Violanti was recommended to us for our Sharpei’s entropion surgery. My 1yo Sharpei had two prior entropion surgeries by a different vet in western suburb of Chicago that did not help at all. Dr. Violanti was so kind, accommodating, and is a truly highly skilled surgeon. My Sharpei Nala can now see very well and is so much more comfortable and happier now. Have been going there for over 25 years. Excellent service and care. Some of the best Vet Tech's in the business. Even though we now have a 45 min. drive, it is always well worth it.

My family has been going to McAfee's for more than 30 years! We started with Dr. Larry McAfee as our vet and he was great. But, I became so impressed with Dr. Steve after he saved my little Pomeranian Little Wolf after he was attached by a black lab and he was not expected to make it. But he pulled through and I have recommended Dr. Steve and McAfee's to everyone I meet! Best veterinarian in Indiana hands down!
