FreakinG AwesomE BirthdaY!!!! – I had my 21st Birthday Party here on Friday! We had VIP so we were able to get drinks and food for only $2!! The place was packed! Absolutely loved the dance floor. SUPER Hott bartenders... since it was so busy we had wait a bit for drinks but they always seemed to help me right away when I got to the bar. Cool place to meet people.
GREAT NIGHT OUT! – I went there last Saturday night and it was AWESOME! The music was bangin' the crowd was lovin' it and the staff is HOT!!! Highly recommend it!
What happened? – What happened to this place? It used to be so much fun. The bartenders don't seem to know what they are doing and are very uptight. It is much easier to get into now days. No line, but now I understand why. The music is the same stuff they were playing 3 years ago, but too loud and cuts out all the time. Too bad, I used to love this place. Now it seems like another lifeless bar trying to hang on to the past.
ROX – McFadden's Rox. I love this place. It's always a party! Comfortable, great drinks really great food. If you can work magic you never have to pay cover and if your HOT there's enough guys in this place you won't have to pay for a drink either. Highly recommend McFadden's on any given weekend Thursdays aren't bad either.
Bartender completely ignores you! – So, a bunch of us girls went to McFadden's for a bachelorette party. While the music was good, the dancing was fun and the bouncer gave us a deal, the bartender left something to be desired. I stood there for a least a half hour, right in front of him, and asked for a drink at least twice, while he served up everyone around me...by the time he got to me, I ordered two and left no tip...I'm not unattractive, but I didn't have my chest busting out of my top...although, he seemed more interes... read more
Crooks! – We went to a charity event for MDA that Mcfaddens was was throwing with the help of the portland spirit, and absolut vodka. it was advertised as an open bar, however we only recieved 3 drink tickets and the drinks were the size of a double shot glass, with a small selection of vodka drinks, as the night went on a raffle was held... my group along with many of the other groups bought tons of raffle tickets to find that all of the winners of the raffle were mcfaddens employees and their friends. Fishy?
Best place in Portland – I really don't know what these other people are talking about, but McFadden's rocks if you are into meeting the friendliest staff in town. They are so accommodating, but like any bar, can get a little busy behind the bar. So if they aren't shining your shoes, cut them some slack because I seriously doubt any of us could do what they do and how well they do it. DO NOT BUY DRINKS HERE!! – I'm not sure how this spot has such a high ranking but for sure DO NOT BUY DRINKS HERE ? unless you like spending $6 for a glass of juice and ice. We took our friend out for her 21st birthday and dropped $200 and none of us were even buzzed. We?ve been to McFadden?s before and were trashed after a few drinks. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, NOT RECOMMENDED, HORRIBLE BOUNCERS, TYPICAL CLUB, BUT WITH NO PROFESSIONALISM WHATSOEVER – I'm not sure if the last review is really accurate. Maybe it was an employee that wrote it, or maybe their service has just really gone that much downhill since last December... Anyways, a real recommendation, STAY AWAY!
