I made an appointment to get health advice from a doctor because I was working with several specialists and I needed to coordinate my care and make decisions about my health. I was seen by a nurse RN and charged $500 co-pay. The original bill was $1,400. $546 for being new, $770 for a "45 min" visit, and $87 for "complexity". Oh really?
