Now it has been six years, but I still stand by everything I wrote here two years ago. Four long wonderful (and sober) years later, I often think of Maynords –– the counselors, the program, the staff, the friends I made, having coffee outside in the morning watching the deer go by, celebrating Thanksgiving with a layer of snow on the ground, playing the piano in the evenings for “sing-alongs” – and of course, all those wonderful meals prepared by the great kitchen staff. Today, there are not enough hours in the day to stay busy and celebrate and enjoy life. I could not have regained my life without the help of Maynords – for which I will always be filled with gratitude. Scott Holliday – Class of November 2010
