I call on a Monday early afternoon, suspecting pneumonia, to hear they have no availability. So I reluctantly head to Winchester Hospital. Went through typical diagnostic tests, covid, flu Aand B, Ekg and x-rays. I return to the waiting room and sit for five hours shivering with a fever, crying from the pain and lacking the ability to regulate my breathing(inhaler is not offering any relief). Do NOT go to Lawrence Memorial Hospital if you can make it to a KC hospital, such as, K.U. Med! (Read to the end, or just skip to "The Worst Detail:") *BLATANT BREACH OF PATIENT RIGHTS AND INCOMPETENCE I fainted and fell, hitting my head on the way down.
