So I visited Ft. Lauderdale and stayed at the Lago Mar beach resort. Went to the beach and obviously went down past the resorts beach property and setup chairs. 10 minutes later some miserable old a$$hole comes down and said I was on private property and said I had to leave. He claimed to be the owner but I doubt it. Probably just a unit owner being a total jerk. Also thought beaches were public but came to realize the only public place is to the high water line.
