It has been over eight months since my Dad and Stepmom moved into the Maya Care Home in Saskatoon. To see my Dad doing so well, with the extra care and support around him, is a testament to the quality of care and concern shown by the staff. They are very accommodating when we come to visit, willing to answer our questions, and the monthly updates they send are great for keeping us informed.
Maya has been a God send for my parents and our family. They were the only place that cared about my parents desire to be together after 62 years of marriage. They have made all their wants a reality. Maya has made them feel part of another home and family and have included their extended family in this next step of life. Maya is what every care home should aspire to be.
My dad moved into Maya care home this summer. We were very concerned about the transition but it has been very smooth. Maya care home has wonderful staff that make all the residents feel like family. It’s a very kind and warm environment. My dad’s care needs are quite high as he has mobility issues and is in a wheelchair most of the time. Our mom moved into Maya Care Homes in Evergreen in September of 2024. The need to find an extended care home was unexpected and it was a difficult transition for mom. From the very beginning, she was welcomed with open arms from an amazing group of caregivers. My mom has been living at Maya for just over a week now. I am very impressed with the care she is receiving. The home itself is beautiful. It’s new, clean, well furnished and well maintained. The food is amazing. My mom loves it. There is even a hair salon facility right in the home. Above all, I am most impressed by the personalized level of care that the team at Maya provides.
