My dad moved into Maya care home this summer. We were very concerned about the transition but it has been very smooth. Maya care home has wonderful staff that make all the residents feel like family. It’s a very kind and warm environment. My dad’s care needs are quite high as he has mobility issues and is in a wheelchair most of the time. Our mom moved into Maya Care Homes in Evergreen in September of 2024. The need to find an extended care home was unexpected and it was a difficult transition for mom. From the very beginning, she was welcomed with open arms from an amazing group of caregivers. My mom has been living at Maya for just over a week now. I am very impressed with the care she is receiving. The home itself is beautiful. It’s new, clean, well furnished and well maintained. The food is amazing. My mom loves it. There is even a hair salon facility right in the home. Above all, I am most impressed by the personalized level of care that the team at Maya provides. From the moment I walked into Maya Care Homes, I felt I had found a safe, caring, professional and nurturing environment for my mom. The staff are warm and open to those who enter their doors and truly listen and understand the specific needs required by those who reside there. I am very grateful to Alysha, Shamini and Shawn for welcoming my mom, myself and my siblings into their lovely home.
Although our mother Mary was only at Maya a short while we were very happy with the care she was provided. All the staff we interacted with were very caring and understanding. The home is lovely and mom enjoyed the time she spent there. I would not hesitate to recommend Maya to other families looking for a caring environment for their family member.
