I usually absolutely love this place. I have never had a problem, but today felt very fishy I walked in and told them what I wanted they quoted me a price and when I got to the counter, it doubled. I’m really not the one to argue so I just paid it, but I don’t know what’s going on with this place

I have been to Maxx Nails on several occasions as a walk in and always had a pleasant experience and a great pedicure. I went two weeks ago and when I asked if they had time for a pedicure and told them I didn’t have an appointment the person at the front desk actually rolled his eyes. I should’ve walked out then but they fit me in. Experience was unfriendly and the polish on my toes faded out within the first week. Needless to say I won’t be back.

I gave this place 2 chances but will never be back! The first time, vivi made my nails so short and round, I wanted them longer and oval. When I went back for my fill after waiting 4 weeks for them to grow out bc they were too short and I told her that, I asked her to make them oval and not round like the last time. Again, she made them short and then told me she needs to charge me $5 extra if I want to “change the shape.” Excuse me? I used to absolutely love this place. However, the last 5 times I have been there, the experience has been terrible. I always book online; if I left a note requesting an extra service (e.g., extra masssage time), it was never read, and when I arrived, I was told there was no time for it. Also, the person I booked with online wasn't ever available. Then whoever “had to do it” was always in a very bad mood and rushing.
