There is a roach problem along with bed bugs in some apartments. When they identify bed bugs, you must pay a lot of money to fix this. Bed bugs can get on you, maintenance staff, or any of your visitors even in their elevator, but you must pay to get them out of your apartment. In fairness, the extermination for roaches is a no additional cost and is included in your rent.
