Went to Maxsell's with two kids in tow--they were made to feel special, got a tour of the whole building, and a deck of cards (and a bread basket) to keep them busy while the adults enjoyed a drink. Couldn't have asked for a better place to take a 6 and 8 year old for their first "fancy" dinner out. And the food was terrific, too! This is one of our favorite places--and that fact is reinforced every single time we dine there!

Went here at during a 4-wheeling trip. This place was fantastic. Head Chef came out and checked on us before and after our meal. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was equally as outstanding.
Food was delicious! We enjoyed our stay very much. I would love to visit again!
Amazing food and wonderful atmosphere! Chef Jayson is outstanding and bar manager Suzanne is fantastic! I am completely obsessed with the apple pie! We also stayed as guests of Maxsells Inn and thoroughly enjoyed the rennovated rooms and warm, comfortable atmosphere. Chef J and Suzanne helped to make our stay fantastic. I can't say enough about the overall experience at Maxsells and look forward to coming back as soon as we can!
There Russian perch is the best tasting I ever had, and the prices are compared to everybody else To sit on the porch looking over Fisher lake is AWSOME You can come as you are
