I personally enjoy this place. The food is good, the drinks are cheap and the waitresses are friendly. I recommend the Chicken Burrito it is delicious and served a few different ways so I can switch it up.
Been eating here for 20+ years it’s a favorite of my whole family. The chips are the best!

I don't live around here anymore and it's been awhile since I've been to Max' . The food and service was great. Brought back memories.
Stopped tonight to eat and when we walked in we were asked to go to the side to sit. After sitting there for 10 minutes we hadn’t even got to order our drinks yet. As we walked out 3 workers were behind the counter just talking. 1 of the workers stood at the door for 5 minutes talking to someone and kept looking over at us but never bothered to come take our order. Very poor customer service.
My favorite Mexican cafe.....since 1965!
The food was horrible. The lettuce had a weird taste, like plastic. If you wanted beans or rice you had to order is separate. The guacamole didn’t look or taste like guacamole. Will not be back!!
