Horrible service. They don't care about the patient and don't care if you go weeks without a caregiver.
My father has had a Maxim home care aide for the past three years. We asked for theee days a week. The caregiver they assigned to him said she only wanted two days a week. We compromised. Almost immediately I recognized that she was not following anything in his care plan and spoke to the company. My father knows this caregiver is the only thing between him and a nursing home so he fought me tooth and nail, eventually telling the company they no longer had his permission to speak to me. Since working with Maxim (at least 10 months), I have worked with the same patient. Although my patient can be challenging, Maxim makes every effort to check on me and see if there is anything I need to make my job easier! They use every resource at hand to Maxim(ize) my experience! I would definitely recommend this company! They are the best!
I have been working for this company for 3 years and I must say they really care about their employees. Schedule can be very flexible if you have outside responsibilities like children or are in school. They will cross train you on skills you are not up to par on. I learned how to work with ventilators because of maxim. I have worked full time, part time, and PRN and have never had an issue with picking up shifts or new cases. I highly recommend this company to either start or continue your nursing career.
