Because I am a dessert fanatic, I was told that I had to experience this place. Those who gave me this advice were VERY right. Maxie B's is an experience! Even before you walk in the doors, you begin to be sucked into a realm of fantasy where sweet dreams are granted. I spent over an hour in there soaking in the chic and decadent atmosphere. We were told that we Had to stop at this bakery on our way from Ohio to N. Carolina for vacation. It wasn't too far out of our way and worth the detour. �We bought chocolate cupcakes and the famous strawberry cake. They were both amazing! Very moist, not too sweet, great texture... The cupcake was the best I have ever had. I recommend this place to anyone, definitely.
