We specialize in Southern layer cakes.....true scratch recipes. We use fresh , local ingredients and offer a large selection of cake flavors each day. You can come in and purchase cakes by the slice, cupcakes right out of our case, frozen yogurt and ice cream.....or just sit in and relax with a cup of coffee. We can design custom cakes for showers, birthdays, weddings, anniversarys or celebrations. If you need a last minute cake for a get together, we have that too!

I went to Maxie B's and walked up from the side with my mask on. I see people inside the storefront and assume they are open. As I pull to open the door, someone woman comes running, while screaming "Nooooooooo!!!" and grabs the door and pulls it shut against me. SMH. Lady comes out and tells me I have to order online or call the store. I said, "But you can't take my order?" We are trying our level best to keep our entire team, their families and our customers and business safe through this. We have signs literally everywhere and ribbons roping off our front door from the edge of our 2 large tents. I honestly can’t imagine how it could remotely appear that we were open to walk in traffic by the looks of things! My mom and I visited Maxie B’s when I was in college and we loved the cake! I decided to surprise my mom for her birthday by mailing her a cake. She lives in the Los Angeles area of California. The store was so helpful in making sure that it would get to her in a quick and efficient manner, and was great at communicating with me their plans. The cake come out perfectly! I periodically go by and purchase several pieces of cake. I like variety. My favorites are the pound cakes. I purchase six or seven slices, I wrap them and put them in the freezer. This way I can always satisfy a sweet spell and have something on hand. I love this place.
